Inspiring Posts

by on December 13, 2011

Every now and then, I like to (re)read inspirational posts from well-known leaders. Here are a few of the posts that I keep coming back to, that have inspired me this past year:

1. Tom’s Twelve Laws of Life

2. Why We Have Too Few Women Leaders

3. How Will You Measure Your Life

4. Steve Jobs’ 2005 Stanford Commencement Speech

5. Brene Brown on the Power of Vulnerability

Steve Jobs

by on October 5, 2011

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”

Rest in peace, Steve Jobs.

Sunrise in Maui

Sunrise above the clouds.
10,000 ft above sea level, at Haleakala National Park in Maui.

Perfect day.

Last Sunday: Brunch at Mission Beach Cafe. Biking across the Golden Gate bridge to Sausalito. Then a ferry ride back to SF. Another perfect day in the Bay.
